Board and Committees

Our vision is for Aboriginal people to live healthy lives enriched by a strong living culture, dignity and justice and for Katungul’s work to be recognised as a driving force in achieving this.

The Katungul Board consists of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and six Directors. The Board delegates the day-to- day management of the organisation to the Chief Executive Officer.

Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee

The Audit and Risk Management Committee consists of board members, staff members and external experts who ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with laws and policies. The committee works with internal and external auditors to review financial statements and audit findings.

Clinical Governance Committee

The Clinical Governance Committee ensures that healthcare services are safe, effective and continuously improving. It acts as a key oversight body that supports the delivery of high-quality clinical care by monitoring systems, reviewing performance and guiding improvements.
